It's the not-so-distant future, and cars are illegal due to gas
shortage. Only the gov't has gas vehicles. A guy has a racecar
hidden under the floor of his garage, which is illegal because
non-gov't cars are banned. He has also buried lots of fule
underground for the car. For some reason the guy gets fed up with the
gov't and breaks his racecar out of the ground and takes it on the
road where he is pursued by the gov't for the rest of the film.
Sound familiar to anyone?
